Building Work: Feb

The building renovations have now begun at the Village Hall.

The Hall is closed to the public and work is due to complete in the Summer of 2012 so untill then the hall will not be available for hire.

We will keep you updated with progress as the work continues so keep checking.

Badminton Club

Rockingham badminton club night has now moved to the tempory location of Uppingham School. Dont forget the Badminton Club is open to all- please see Ian or David Norman for more details. Or email the website

Job Vacancy: Heritage Learning Officer

As part of the Heritage Fund project there is a vacancy for a Heritage Learning Officer. This is a part-time post to develop, present & share learning activities regarding the hall and the village.

Safari Supper

To all those who took part in the last Safari Supper and to those wishing to take part in the next, we have scheduled it for Saturday 4th February 2012

Please note the deadline for entries is Monday 16th January. The cost is £10 per couple with proceeds being donated to the village hall.

Heating Oil

Walkabout
A ‘walkabout’ is conducted regularly with representatives from the village, local councillors and Corby Borough Council to identify areas of the village that require attention.
The next walkabout is scheduled for April. If you would like attention to be drawn to an issue, please advise a member of the parish council.
